About Me

My photo
Barbara Day
Des Moines, IA, United States
After 30 years of teaching, I am semi retired. As a classroom teacher, I taught grades 1 through 4, For the past two years I have worked as an AmeriCorps reading tutor. I still work at the same school where I have taught for the past 29 years. I get to work with brothers, sisters, and sometimes the children of my former students. I love it! I enjoy having the flexibility to explore my many interests, including knitting, crochet, gardening, writing, and art.
